Prostitution, or sex workers, in their right to practice their profession (as they say, “one of the oldest”). In the past, there were schools where taught dramaturgy, music, literature, body language … and this improved their condition to select customers with other purchasing power. Today, it is sad to see how few “handles” are used, and unprotected, subject to abuse, including, or even more, by violent men (police, politicians, judges, celebrities …) to use their social-level impunity have their communities to defend their “good manhood” – mostly belonging to backward patriarchal systems. Society regresses in some respects, but look and the courtesans of the past, should already be protected places where they can specialize, and where to report when they are so abused, raped or murdered. The ban is a measure of hypocrisy and no shame worse off as sex workers go underground. Why not investigate violent customers instead. And legalized locations that are adequately prepared to offer their services?
Yes your right; there should be no violence (sex) how about I buy you lunch sometime; instead; or we go out sight seeing and have a picnic well anyway you catch my drift be safe out there; I know it’s not easy….. Roger
